The laboratory origin of the Wuhan virus has been in the news this past week. The Department of Energy (DOE) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) have both acknowledged that COVID-19 most likely originated from the Chinese Wuhan laboratory and not from natural, animal sources. What was once condemned as conspiracy theory is now a conspiracy fact. In addition to these belated admissions (some say cover-ups), new research has revealed the chance of the Wuhan virus having a natural origin is less than 1 in 100 million. The lab-released virus has the telltale signature of genetic engineering from the work of Ralph Baric, Ph.D. Baric's published research described how to hide the unique signs of genetic engineering through a technique called seamless ligation which he invented in 2002 and taught to Chinese scientists in Wuhan in 2016. Baric's nickname for this method was called "no-see'm method" but it has its own giveaway signature which uniquely identifies this illegal gain-of-function experiment secretly funded by Dr. Fauci and the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Ralph Baric's Legacy

Baric works at the University of North Carolina (UNC). Funding flows to UNC from the National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Baric's technique has long been controversial. Referring to Baric’s seamless ligation methodology, evolutionary biologist Bret Weinstein observed:“It’s the exact opposite of what you would do if your interest was public health. Public health scientists would be marking their enhancements with red flags—not devising ways to hide them. The only reason you would want a concealer is to advance a sinister purpose—such as illegal bioweapons development—some mischief that the scientist didn’t want traceable back to his lab.”

Chinese Expertise in Gain-of-Function

Baric taught his “no-see’m” method to the Wuhan Institute of Virology’s (WIV) “Bat Lady”
Shi Zhengli in 2016. In return, Baric received Chinese coronaviruses collected by Shi from bats in Yunnan province. Scientists have linked the COVID-19 genome’s pedigree to bats. Shi and her colleagues at the Wuhan Institute subsequently demonstrated their mastery of Baric’s high-risk technique in a series of published —and highly controversial-- gain-of-function experiments at the Wuhan lab. It has been even more puzzling to his critics that Baric, again with NIAID funding, chose to share this dangerous technique for weaponizing pathogens with Chinese scientists who have clear links to the Chinese military . Experts say that the implications of this new study could be far-reaching. By identifying the possible fingerprint of Baric’s methodology, the study raises the possibility of potentially devastating liability for NIAID, UNC and other parties.

Inconsistent with Natural Evolution

Scientists, including those close to Dr. Anthony Fauci , have repeatedly pointed out that SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, has genomic sequences that appear inconsistent with natural evolution : the COVID-19 virus is no longer infectious in bats, and its spiked protein feature—which is unknown in this family of coronavirus —includes numerous mutations that make it ideally infectious in humans. The closest known coronavirus relative—a coronavirus from the Wuhan lab—is 96.2% identical to SARS-CoV-2. The peculiar spike represents almost the entire 3.8% difference. Oddly, there are multiple novel mutations in the spike and almost none in the rest of the genome.

Genetically Engineered

Natural evolution would be expected to leave mutations distributed evenly across the genome. The fact that virtually all the mutations occur on the spike has led these scientists to suspect that that particular Wuhan lab coronavirus collected by Shi Zhengli is the direct progenitor of SARS-CoV-2 and that its new spike was implanted through genetic engineering. However, the unmistakable fingerprints of lab engineering were absent. This left many experts wondering whether Baric’s technique was used to assemble a novel coronavirus with the engineered spike while removing the evidence ("no-see'm" method) of lab generation.

Baric's DNA at the Crime Scene

This new study connects the biological breadcrumbs that link federally funded research to a global pandemic.
That trail leads directly to the methodology created by Baric at UNC and funded by NIAID. The authors of the study—a team of researchers from Duke University, University Clinics of Würzburg and an industry group—identified a characteristic signature in the amino acid code. That indelible artifact could only have emerged from Baric’s “no-see’m” methodology. In an intervies in summer 2021, Baric himself confessed that at the time the pandemic began, only two or three labs in the world were using his protocol—including his UNC lab and the Wuhan lab (WIV). The study’s authors’ conclusions rest on the presence of unique sites in the COVID-19 virus. These sites allow special enzymes called restriction enzymes to cut the DNA into building blocks of unique size that then can be “stitched together in the correct order of the viral genome,” according to the study’s authors.

Proof in the Spelling Differences

Essentially, Baric’s technique leaves behind unique spellings in the “genetic vocabulary.” The new words include “odd spelling choices” subtly distinguishing them from typical viral vocabulary. The magic of Baric’s “no-see’m” technique is to invisibly weave these telltale “spelling” changes into the viral sequence between relevant genes without altering the viral protein. This is like changing the “spelling” of the word without changing its meaning; the casual listener will never notice the difference. The research team used forensic tools to drill down on minute “spelling differences” in the SARS-CoV-2 genome that betray laboratory tampering using the “no-see’m” technique. Consider how a Brit would spell “colour,” “manoeuvre” or “paediatric.” The choice to spell a word in a certain way can reveal your nation of origin. Similarly, these nearly imperceptible changes in the viral sequence gave away the laboratory origins of this virus.

Bottom Line

In sharing his seamless ligation technique with Shi Zhengli, Baric assured that the WIV possessed all the required elements of the assembly process. EcoHealth Alliance’s infamous
DEFUSE proposal describes the same techniques in detail and was submitted to The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in 2018. The world now has undisputable proof that SARS-CoV-2 was an engineered laboratory creation generated with technology developed by Ralph Baric with U.S. government funding. Kitchen cooking oils will not last forever. Depending upon the oil, it can go rancid in a matter of months or a few years. You don't want to cook with rancid oil because it smells like wet socks and the living components have lost their vitality. But the good news is, expired oil won't hurt you. There is no water in it, so no mold can grow to make it rotten and dangerous. It can still be used for creative applications. According to the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, “Vegetable oils have many good natural properties including good lubricity, good resistance to shear, a high flash point, and a high viscosity index.” These qualities make them quite versatile in a number of applications. You might consider keeping your old oil rather than throwing it out. Recycling expired oil could prove to be a valuable asset in emergency situations.

Disposable face masks, such as those health officials encouraged (or in some cases, mandated) the public to wear during the COVID-19 pandemic, are made of synthetic fibers and may contain chemical compounds. Many people have questioned the wisdom of wearing masks made of synthetic fibers for long periods, asking whether inhaling the chemical compounds masks release could lead to health problems.

Deaths from Alzheimer's more than doubled between 2000 and 2019. In 2023, nearly 7 million Americans have been diagnosed with the disease. Today, 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or dementia—the death toll exceeds the total of breast- and prostate cancer combined. Officially, it's the sixth-leading cause of death, but a 2014 study suggests that it is actually one of the top three (just behind heart disease and cancer). The discrepancy being how death certificates underreport the disese because they record the more immediate cause of death (pneumonia or heart attack) rather than listing the underlyings causes.

True confessions: I never liked flossing, so I rarely used the string. Angie used all of the flossing strings I collected from the dentist to cut the dough when making cinnamon rolls—I thought that was a better and tastier use! I always brushed my teeth (manually and with a battery operated toothbrush). My teeth felt clean enough, but still, I had a lot of dental guilt every 6 months when I had to admit I wasn't flossing. A few years ago, I found a device that removed all my guilt and shame! I discovered the waterpik. A waterpik (also known as a dental water jet) is a brand of water flosser or oral irrigator that sprays water to remove food from between your teeth. Water flossers are a fabulous option for people who have trouble with traditional flossing—the kind that involves threading string-like material between your teeth. The girl in the picture looks like me trying to floss!

Shingles is a viral infection caused by the activation of the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), also called human herpesvirus 3. That's the same virus that causes chickenpox. If you have ever had chickenpox, you were exposed to the varicella-zoster virus, which stays in your body for the rest of your life. If this occurs, the virus can reactivate as shingles years later. Being exposed to children with chickenpox keeps adult immunity up and reduces the chance of shingles in the future. Unfortunately, because we have largely eliminated chickenpox in kids, there is no repeated exposure to the virus to keep shingles at bay. The medical community has traded a kid's disease with few side effects for an adult disease with a lot of pain and discomfort. The VZV is a member of the herpes family of viruses. When shingles develops, it affects the nerves throughout the body resulting in painful, uncomfortable symptoms.

There are no easy answers for those who struggle with sleeping at night. Without a good night's sleep, our body's repair systems begin to struggle. A hormone we are familiar with has a little-known role in managing sleep. Cortisol is a steroid hormone that helps the body respond to stress and danger. It's also known as the "stress hormone" and is produced in the adrenal glands, which sit on top of each kidney. The hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis regulates cortisol production and secretion. But I didn't realize it played an important role in keeping us from sleep.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body to attack its own tissues and organs, including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. According to traditional medicine, there is no cure for lupus. The work of the GRM demonstrates that there is hope through nutritional glycobiology. Current lupus medical treatments often target symptoms or broadly suppress the immune system, leading to side effects. However, Marina Zhang, an outstanding health reporter with The Epoch Times, reported that according to a Nature study published in 2024, science has discovered that patients with lupus have an imbalance in a crucial chemical pathway in their bodies. Researchers found that this imbalance produces more disease-causing cells that promote lupus. If this chemical imbalance can be corrected, they believe lupus can be reversed.

A recent study on sialic acid (a sugar) shines a bright light on an established risk factor for cancer. Scientists and doctors have known long-term consumption of red meat (beef, pork and lamb) is highly correlated to cancer. For years, researchers have looked for specific mechanisms in the meat that would cause human carcinomas. Grilling red meat was thought to create DNA damage due to mutagens, which are chemicals that mutate DNA. But that theory didn’t pan out. Grilling poultry and fish generates the same mutagens, but fish and poultry are not associated with an increased risk of cancer.

A false paradigm is a belief system that is incorrect. For centuries, people believed the sun went around the Earth. People looked up in the sky and it happened every day without fail. However, it was Copernicus in 1543 and Galileo in the 1600s who finally advanced the idea that what everyone saw each day was an illusion: the Earth actually went around the sun. Mark Twain stated, "It's not what we don't know that prevents us from succeeding; it's what we KNOW that just ain't so." I will discuss 5 false paradigms below.
