The reason the U.S. government gave vaccine manufacturers immunity against liability is because they convinced the Reagan White House that vaccines could not be made safe and that they would always injure certain people. According to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., vaccine makers were given blanket immunity "no matter how grievous the injury, no matter how reckless the behavior, no matter how shoddy their manufacturing and testing processes and the reason we gave them that liability shield is because they were able to convince the Reagan White House that vaccines could not be made safe. They're going to injure certain people." So, why is there even an argument about whether vaccines are safe and effective? Vaccine makers admitted in 1986 that vaccines could not be made safe for everyone and the government agreed with them! The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) trumpets that vaccine injuries are rare—only 1 in 1 million. But that is a blatant propaganda lie. The CDC studied the question in 2010 and published the Lazarus Study which revealed that the real-world injury rate is 2.6%, which equates to 1 in 37 people!

Vaccine Injuries Are Common But Underreported

The Lazarus Study authors noted that "Adverse events from drugs and vaccines are common, but underreported ... fewer than 1% of vaccine adverse events are reported." They also stressed that "Low reporting rates preclude or slow the identification of 'problem' drugs and vaccines that endanger public health." More than half of the American population have chronic diseases that might make them more prone to vaccine injury (as we saw with COVID-19), so arguing that underlying health problems are to blame for vaccine injuries is hardly a solid argument. The question is, if so many people are at risk of vaccine injury, why aren't we making sure vaccines are as safe as they can possibly get?

Vaccines Did Not Save Millions From Infectious Disease

In 2000, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health reviewed vital statistics data to assess to what degree vaccines and other interventions contributed to the massive decrease in infectious disease mortality in the 20th century. Surprisingly, medical interventions such as antibiotics and vaccines were found to have played only a very small role. The explanation for the improvement in public health was improvements in nutrition and sanitation. The McKinlay and McKinlay study published in 1977 documented that less than 1% of the decline in mortality from infectious disease in the U.S. in the 20th century could be attributed to modern medical intervention, including drugs, vaccines, and surgeries.

COVID-19 Vaccine

A Cleveland Clinic study published in December 2022 concluded that:

1. The COVID-19 shots provided protection for a couple of months, after which effectiveness waned precipitously, and after approximately seven months, the vaccinated were more susceptible to COVID than before (negative efficacy).

2. The risk of COVID-19 infection increased with each vaccine dose. Those who had received two doses were 2.6 times more likely to get infected than the unvaccinated, and those with three or more doses had a 3.4 times higher risk.

3. The bivalent COVID-19 booster was only 29% effective in preventing infection during the timeframe when it was well-matched to the circulating strain. When the circulating strain mutated, as it always and frequently did, there was virtually no effectiveness.

CDC data reveals that by April 2022, most COVID deaths were occurring among the jabbed and boosted, and this even though numbers were artificially suppressed because they only counted people as 'vaccinated' or 'boosted' if they were at least two weeks out from their last shot (six weeks out from their initial COVID-19 shot).

The Kaiser Family Foundation reported that "In fall 2021, about 3 in 10 adults dying of COVID-19 were vaccinated or boosted. But by January 2022 ... about 4 in 10 deaths were vaccinated or boosted. By April 2022 ... data show that about 6 in 10 adults dying of COVID-19 were vaccinated or boosted, and that's remained true through at least August 2022."

Turtles All The Way Down

A great book for those who want the unsullied truth about specific vaccines is called
Turtles All The Way Down . The authors chose to remain anonymous to avoid being smeared and having the scientific discussion railroaded. They state the following in their book description:

"
If you are reading this, you are probably aware of the fierce debate surrounding vaccinations and looking for information that will allow you to make the best decisions for yourself and your loved ones. Whether you are a parent or a parent to be, sorting through the many arguments on vaccines can be daunting. Still, you need an answer, a definitive one, to the crucial question: Who has it right in the great vaccine debate – the critics, who claim that vaccines often cause serious harm, or the medical establishment, which tells us that vaccines are safe and effective and the science is settled?

Rest assured, you have come to the right place. Turtles All the Way Down: Vaccine Science and Myth
will resolve the vaccine question for you, once and for all. By the time you finish reading, not only will you see the answer clearly for yourself, you will also have the scientific references and specific quotes at your disposal that prove it – more than 1,200 of them – all from mainstream scientific papers and textbooks, the official publications of relevant government agencies, or manufacturers’ documents.

The book consolidates a great deal of information (accompanied by detailed analysis) that is scattered in hundreds of medical articles, books, and websites. All discussion is presented in clear and easy-to-understand language, so no medical education is required. It presents several original concepts in addition to laying a robust scientific foundation for the more established ones."

Some of the fundamental vaccine safety issues covered in the book are:

  1. How is safety demonstrated before a new vaccine is licensed? What technique do vaccine manufacturers use in clinical trials to make vaccines appear safer than they actually are?
  2. What “last ditch” technique is employed when the above one cannot be, and what are its grave (and damning) ethical implications?
  3. What is the scientific foundation for the safety of vaccinations, and what practical tools does this body of science provide physicians with to anticipate, diagnose, and treat vaccine injury?
  4. What fundamental flaws are built into vaccine adverse events reporting systems, and how are these systems used (or misused) by health authorities to support their safety claims?
  5. What kinds of post-marketing vaccine studies are conducted, and how can they be manipulated by researchers to produce “favorable” outcomes?
  6. Why would researchers want to skew vaccine research, and how could skewed results be promulgated by the scientific community?
  7. Why would medical journals publish faulty vaccine science? What is the role of the famed “peer review” in this process?
  8. What are “the studies that will never be done” by the medical establishment and how long have they resisted doing them? (Hint: more than 100 years!)
  9. What key CDC-recommended childhood vaccination guidelines were arbitrarily set, without an adequate scientific basis?

In addition, three cornerstones of vaccination lore are covered in depth:

  1. What is herd immunity, and how does it apply (or not) to the vaccines on the childhood schedule?
  2. What role did vaccines actually play in the historical decline of infectious disease?
  3. Was the paralysis associated with polio actually caused by the poliovirus? Is there a better explanation for the great paralysis epidemics of the 20th century? What are the “19 polio mysteries”?

"The book is intended for parents overwhelmed by conflicting messaging on this important topic, but it is also an excellent reference for medical researchers and professionals who seek a better understanding of vaccine safety science. Whether you are new to the vaccine debate or a “veteran” seeking a deeper grasp of the science, this book is a must-read. It also serves as an excellent primer on vaccination to share with friends and relatives who may benefit from a deep dive into the subject." I couldn't agree more and give this book my highest recommendation. I also have a Wellness Support Group Webinar presentation on the book that you can watch.

Kitchen cooking oils will not last forever. Depending upon the oil, it can go rancid in a matter of months or a few years. You don't want to cook with rancid oil because it smells like wet socks and the living components have lost their vitality. But the good news is, expired oil won't hurt you. There is no water in it, so no mold can grow to make it rotten and dangerous. It can still be used for creative applications. According to the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service, “Vegetable oils have many good natural properties including good lubricity, good resistance to shear, a high flash point, and a high viscosity index.” These qualities make them quite versatile in a number of applications. You might consider keeping your old oil rather than throwing it out. Recycling expired oil could prove to be a valuable asset in emergency situations.

Disposable face masks, such as those health officials encouraged (or in some cases, mandated) the public to wear during the COVID-19 pandemic, are made of synthetic fibers and may contain chemical compounds. Many people have questioned the wisdom of wearing masks made of synthetic fibers for long periods, asking whether inhaling the chemical compounds masks release could lead to health problems.

Deaths from Alzheimer's more than doubled between 2000 and 2019. In 2023, nearly 7 million Americans have been diagnosed with the disease. Today, 1 in 3 seniors dies with Alzheimer's or dementia—the death toll exceeds the total of breast- and prostate cancer combined. Officially, it's the sixth-leading cause of death, but a 2014 study suggests that it is actually one of the top three (just behind heart disease and cancer). The discrepancy being how death certificates underreport the disese because they record the more immediate cause of death (pneumonia or heart attack) rather than listing the underlyings causes.

True confessions: I never liked flossing, so I rarely used the string. Angie used all of the flossing strings I collected from the dentist to cut the dough when making cinnamon rolls—I thought that was a better and tastier use! I always brushed my teeth (manually and with a battery operated toothbrush). My teeth felt clean enough, but still, I had a lot of dental guilt every 6 months when I had to admit I wasn't flossing. A few years ago, I found a device that removed all my guilt and shame! I discovered the waterpik. A waterpik (also known as a dental water jet) is a brand of water flosser or oral irrigator that sprays water to remove food from between your teeth. Water flossers are a fabulous option for people who have trouble with traditional flossing—the kind that involves threading string-like material between your teeth. The girl in the picture looks like me trying to floss!

Shingles is a viral infection caused by the activation of the varicella-zoster virus (VZV), also called human herpesvirus 3. That's the same virus that causes chickenpox. If you have ever had chickenpox, you were exposed to the varicella-zoster virus, which stays in your body for the rest of your life. If this occurs, the virus can reactivate as shingles years later. Being exposed to children with chickenpox keeps adult immunity up and reduces the chance of shingles in the future. Unfortunately, because we have largely eliminated chickenpox in kids, there is no repeated exposure to the virus to keep shingles at bay. The medical community has traded a kid's disease with few side effects for an adult disease with a lot of pain and discomfort. The VZV is a member of the herpes family of viruses. When shingles develops, it affects the nerves throughout the body resulting in painful, uncomfortable symptoms.

There are no easy answers for those who struggle with sleeping at night. Without a good night's sleep, our body's repair systems begin to struggle. A hormone we are familiar with has a little-known role in managing sleep. Cortisol is a steroid hormone that helps the body respond to stress and danger. It's also known as the "stress hormone" and is produced in the adrenal glands, which sit on top of each kidney. The hypothalamus-pituitary-adrenal axis regulates cortisol production and secretion. But I didn't realize it played an important role in keeping us from sleep.

Lupus is a chronic autoimmune disease that causes the body to attack its own tissues and organs, including the joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart, and lungs. According to traditional medicine, there is no cure for lupus. The work of the GRM demonstrates that there is hope through nutritional glycobiology. Current lupus medical treatments often target symptoms or broadly suppress the immune system, leading to side effects. However, Marina Zhang, an outstanding health reporter with The Epoch Times, reported that according to a Nature study published in 2024, science has discovered that patients with lupus have an imbalance in a crucial chemical pathway in their bodies. Researchers found that this imbalance produces more disease-causing cells that promote lupus. If this chemical imbalance can be corrected, they believe lupus can be reversed.

A recent study on sialic acid (a sugar) shines a bright light on an established risk factor for cancer. Scientists and doctors have known long-term consumption of red meat (beef, pork and lamb) is highly correlated to cancer. For years, researchers have looked for specific mechanisms in the meat that would cause human carcinomas. Grilling red meat was thought to create DNA damage due to mutagens, which are chemicals that mutate DNA. But that theory didn’t pan out. Grilling poultry and fish generates the same mutagens, but fish and poultry are not associated with an increased risk of cancer.

A false paradigm is a belief system that is incorrect. For centuries, people believed the sun went around the Earth. People looked up in the sky and it happened every day without fail. However, it was Copernicus in 1543 and Galileo in the 1600s who finally advanced the idea that what everyone saw each day was an illusion: the Earth actually went around the sun. Mark Twain stated, "It's not what we don't know that prevents us from succeeding; it's what we KNOW that just ain't so." I will discuss 5 false paradigms below.
