A Promising Approach for COVID-19

I'm indebted to Penny who shared a link leading me to this very important information. Dr. Richard Bartlett is a medical doctor in Texas who is having remarkable success helping his patients with COVID-19. Normally, half of the people diagnosed with coronavirus have no symptoms. The other 50% have symptoms but only 20% become seriously ill and require treatment. Early medical treatment approaches prescribed pain relief for headache and fever. Patients were sent home to self-monitor the situation until things got better or more severe. Those who came back with severe cases were more at risk of dying. Dr. Bartlett discovered that if he could intervene early with more preventive treatment, his patients never developed severe cases. Because his treatment was so successful, he sent the procedure up the chain to medical authorities, Senator Ted Cruz and other politicians so he could get the word out. 

Dr. Bartlett's approach involves using a steroid called Budesonide. This drug has been used for over 20 years to treat asthma patients. The drug is inhaled via a nebulizer. There are very few side-effects compared to other drugs. Breathing in the mist immediately targets the source of inflammation in the lungs and patients begin to breathe easier while their immune system fights off the virus.

Other countries which identified COVID-19 early and treated their patients with a steroid are Japan, Taiwan, and Singapore. Even though Japan is a very populated country, they have only 7 deaths per 1,000,000 people. Taiwan has 0.3 per million and Singapore has 4 per million. In addition, Australia and New Zealand have 4 and South Korea has 5 per million. In contrast, countries that rely solely on lockdown, social distancing, and waiting to treat the disease until it becomes severe have much higher death rates. Belgium has 829 deaths per million, the United Kingdom has 598, Spain has 580, Italy has 562, Sweden has 523, France has 445, and the U.S. has 389. Clearly, something is making a huge difference in the countries with single digit statistics and it appears to be related to adequate testing and early-on treatment. ​To watch the interview with Dr. Richard Bartlett and Debbie Georgatos on America, Can We Talk? Why are Europe and the U.S. waiting so long to test and treat patients? There are viable alternatives and approaches which appear to be making an incredible difference in the lives of COVID-19 patients. It looks like the doom and gloom media along with the bureaucratic medical system are waiting until a vaccine can be developed. This approach is costing needless loss of life. The NIH is finally funding a study on the benefits of this steroid approach. The results will be out in October. But true to form, they set up the test to fail. Instead of treating patients early on in their illness as recommended by Dr. Bartlett, they are waiting until the disease has seriously ravaged the patient's lungs. Of course, they can then claim the approach doesn't work and falsely assert that only the vaccine will save us.

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., recently obtained documents suggesting that the NIH owns half of the key patents for Moderna's controversial COVID-19 vaccine and could collect half of the royalties associated with it. In addition, four NIH scientists have filed their own provisional patent applications as co-inventors. Obscure NIH regulations allow these government scientists to collect up to $150,000 annually in royalties from the vaccines they work on. This is a recipe for regulatory corruption. No wonder the NIH is so biased for drug and vaccine development.

This little known regulation might explain why Anthony Fauci moved Moderna's vaccine to the front of the line, skipping critical animal testing meant to identify safety issues. By skipping these tests, the real guinea pigs will be the American public. Fauci also arranged for a $483 million grant to Moderna via a sister NIH agency, BARDA. Fauci was forced to publicly make an optimistic assessment after Moderna's dismal news concerning initial vaccine development. Four executives dumped more than $89 million in stock after learning that 20% of the high dose and 6% of the low dose vaccine recipients had Grade 3 (severe or medically significant) reactions following the vaccinations.

Protected and encouraged by Fauci, Moderna and the NIH began manufacturing the first one billion doses of the deadly vaccine this month. But Fauci knows from experience that no matter how dangerous the vaccine, the easy part is convincing people to take it. The big pharmaceutical companies control the media; they are the number one advertiser and money always speaks the loudest. It doesn't matter that a study in Iceland has documented 243 mutations for COVID-19, making any vaccine developed irrelevant. The only way to stop this train is to blow the whistle so the public can wake up to what is happening before it is too late.
