I came across an article that scientifically documented over 20 harmful effects of caffeine. I've always advocated drinking water as the beverage of choice. Our bodies are 65 percent water. Pure, clean water is the best liquid for our bodies to run on. Adding sugar, caffeine, and other drug-like compounds to what we drink stresses our kidneys, liver, heart, and endocrine system. Even drinking decaffeinated coffee where 97% of the caffeine has been removed is not the perfect solution.
