The largest randomized controlled study to date on the benefits of wearing a mask was published this week (November 18th) in the Annals of Internal Medicine. The study involved 6,024 Danish subjects and the data showed that wearing a medical mask was not effective protection against SARS-CoV-2 (the current coronavirus pandemic) infections. High-quality surgical masks were used in the study. These masks are comparable to the N95 respirator masks used by professionals. Wearing these masks when outside the home did not reduce the incidence of COVID-19 when compared to those not wearing a mask at all. There was no value added (statistical significant difference) for those wearing a mask versus those who went without a mask. These findings also apply to the influenza (flu) virus.
The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California ruled on November 5th, 2020 that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) violated environmental law when they approved genetically engineered (GE) salmon. The Center for Food Safety and Earthjustice sued the FDA in 2016 for approving the first commercially GE animal as food for human consumption.
Jay Bhattacharya, Professor of Medicine at Stanford University, presents the facts about how deadly COVID-19 really is, who is at risk, and how lockdowns have affected us. It is a sensible and compassionate anti-COVID strategy. Dr. Bhattacharya documents how the COVID fatality rate is only in the neighborhood of 0.2%. He explains the thousandfold difference between the mortality rate in people over 70 years of age versus that in children. In fact, more children have died from the seasonal flu than have died from COVID by a factor of two or three.
In his book, How to End the Autism Epidemic, J.B. Handley writes about how for fifty years the tobacco companies rejected the idea that tobacco caused cancer. It is instructive to review because this is the same playbook Big Pharma is using to stave off attacks on vaccination credibility.
