Children and the Shot

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) decided on June 25, 2021 to add a warning concerning mRNA 'vaccines' produced by Pfizer and Moderna. The warning was added to patient and doctor fact sheets indicating increased risk of myocarditis, especially following the second dose of these mRNA vaccines. Mycocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle which can lead to cardiac arrhythmia and death. This is the result of the body's immune reaction to the initial heart damage. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) acknowledged 1,200 cases of heart inflammation in 16- to 24-year-olds but refused to ban the vaccine for this age group. Health officials said the benefits of receiving a COVID vaccine still outweighed any risks. However, many physicians disagree with the CDC decision.

Dr. Meryl Nass, an internal medicine physician, pointed out several flaws in the data used during the CDC presentations. He said that CDC presenters watered down the rate of myocarditis by lumping "people from age 39 and down--even though the highest rates [of myocarditis] are in the youngest kids...The other method was to only include a very narrow window of time after vaccinations started in the 12-15 age group, thus omitting the vast majority of second doses, which is when about 75% or more of the mycarditis cases occur." In this way, CDC presenters minimized the mycarditis rate, inflated the efficacy of the mRNA vaccines for the 12 to 15 age group and magnified the risk for COVID so they could justify a warning instead of banning the vaccinations.

Dr. Elizabeth Mumper stated, "The chance of a child less than 17 years of age dying from COVID-19 is 0.0005% according to the CDC's own numbers. Most pediatric patients have robust innate immune systems, meaning that they have strong defenses to a variety of viruses. Infections with beta coronaviruses, which kids are likely to have, induce strong and long-lasting immunity to the nucleocapsid protein that is likely to protect children from serious problems from COVID-19."  ​

While Pfizer claims their vaccine is 95% effective, this is pharmaceutical relative risk reduction hocus pocus. The absolute risk reduction is actually less than 1%. While Pfizer claims a 100% efficacy rate in 12- to 15-year-olds, this is another statistical trick. Less than 2% of fully-vaccinated children avoided COVID-19; 98% of them would not have gotten COVID anyway. So, the benefit of the vaccine is actually very small. Vaccinating children who do not spread COVID to adults is a statistical misrepresentation and is completely unethical. 

A significant number of American children are already immune to COVID-19 and this is another reason why children have so little benefit from the shot. The CDC estimates 23% of children under the age of 4 and 42% of those age 5 to 17 have already had the SARS-CoV-2 infection and therefore have a strong, long-lasting, natural immunity. In the Pfizer trials, 76% of the children age 12 to 15 experienced headache along with other temporary side effects. But serious adverse events occurred in 2.4%. At least 7 deaths have occurred since June  11, 2021. These represent serious consequences for a disease virtually no child dies from. That the CDC allows the mRNA vaccine to be administered to children or pregnant mothers is inexcusable. 

In addition to the Pfizer and Moderna warning mentioned in the first paragraph, the FDA will announce a new warning on Johnson & Johnson’s COVID vaccine saying the shot is linked to Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS). In April, the agency added a warning about blood clotting disorders to the J&J shot. GBS is a neurological disorder in which the body’s immune system mistakenly attacks part of its peripheral nervous system. This is the network of nerves located outside of the brain and spinal cord. GBS can range from a very mild case with brief weakness to paralysis, leaving the person unable to breathe independently. 

The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) data released by the CDC on July 9, 2021 showed a total of 438,441 reports of adverse events from all age groups following COVID vaccines, including 9,048 deaths and 41,015 serious injuries between Dec. 14, 2020 and July 2, 2021. The number of deaths increased by 2,000 in just one week. Keep in mind that the government's own reports document that VAERS captures less than 1% of all events. It really looks like the cure is killing more people than the disease!
