​The Autism Science Foundation (ASF) has a strong pro-vaccine agenda. On their website, they list 27 studies they claim prove vaccines and autism are not related. When you read all 27 studies you find they actually only "study" one vaccine (MMR) and one vaccine ingredient (thimerosal). There are 38 ingredients and 11 other vaccines they should have studied also. It's even more disturbing when reading the studies to see they are clearly biased. For example, a premier study (Verstraeten) touted by pro-vaccine supporters and published in Pediatrics in 2000, is seriously flawed. 

They compare children who receive more mercury in their vaccines with children who received slightly less mercury in their vaccines. There is no true placebo group when they don't use children who have had no vaccines. This tainted approach is like comparing a person who smokes two packs a day of cigarettes to a person who smokes one pack a day to see if there are any differences in neurological disorders. Duh! There won't be any real differences because both groups are cigarette smokers! The Tozzi study published in 2009 in Pediatrics also plays the same trick.

Instead of comparing the children to completely unvaccinated children, they compare them to slightly less vaccinated children and then they pronounce that there is no real difference between the type of disorders the two groups are exhibiting. Holy cow! Of course, there aren't any real differences because both groups have been vaccinated!

It's like comparing people who eat 2 onions a day with people who eat one onion a day. Yep! Both groups have onion breath so no real difference there! This is the type of logic they are using to convince the public that vaccines are safe. A real study would be to compare the vaccinated group of children to an unvaccinated group of children. This would then show accurately what the real differences are. It's clear to see this type of study is not real science. 

People who use the Verstraeten study also fail to point out 3 things: 1) The authors of the study make it clear they could neither prove nor disprove an association between mercury and vaccines. Yet, supporters of vaccines say this study proves there are no problems associated with using mercury in vaccines. 2) Dr. Thomas Verstraeten was so alarmed about how his study was being misused by pro-vaccine supporters, he wrote a letter to Pediatrics saying "A neutral study carries a very distinct message: the investigators could neither confirm nor exclude an association, and therefore more study is required." 3) The study did note that "tics" (involuntary muscle disorders) are directly correlated to mercury levels.

Can you guess who funded the Verstraeten and Tozzi studies? Yep! The CDC. This is the  government agency charged with the responsibility for implementing the vaccine program. And yet, they are also responsible for vaccine safety monitoring?? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that they don't fund studies to make their program look bad. They are not really wanting to see if there is a vaccine-autism connection in any honest way. They are interested in promoting the pharmaceutical industry and their own agenda. That's what keeps them in business. 

One last fake science problem. It's a trick like what was used in the Verstraeten and Tozzi studies. Two groups of children were tested. One group got 62.5 mcg of mercury and the other group of children got 137.5 mcg of mercury. They concluded that there was no difference in the disorders these children manifested. Really?! Both of these groups were poisoned with mercury! How could they conclude the vaccines were safe when all they did was give a little less mercury to one of the groups of children?

To top this all off the authors misrepresent the term "unvaccinated." They lead us to believe there was a comparison group of children who received no vaccines at all. But when you read the fine print they define "unvaccinated" as children who never have had the MMR vaccine, not children who have never had any vaccine. Again, sleight of hand makes it sound legit but in actuality this is not a placebo group. This is a huge bias built into the "scientific" study and buried in such a way that most people will never notice it. "Unvaccinated"? It is a lie and highly deceptive.

​The way these 27 studies are used by the vaccine industry as if they are the final word on vaccinations is outrageous. This is not real science. It is fake. It is corrupted to support an agenda and to deceive the public. J.B. Handley writes in his book, How to End the Autism Epidemic, "...the number of vaccines given to children has nearly quadrupled since the early 1980s, and the autism rate is up more than 30,000 percent during the same time period. There are tens of thousands (or more) of parental reports of regression into autism after vaccination. These reports are worldwide, in every socioeconomic level and every race." These irrefutable facts are slammed by the vaccine industry who authoritatively boast of their conclusive studies and bully parents into believing only their "science." The emperor has no clothes. It's time someone handed him a mirror.
