Mercury is one of the most toxic elements on the planet. Exposure to mercury can come from coal burning power plants, volcanoes, forest fires, fish, dental amalgams, and vaccines. Water sources are polluted with mercury from environmental sources. A list of fish with various levels of mercury are presented in the Wellness Support Group webinar entitled Mercury located on our website.
Dental amalgams are tooth fillings contain half silver and half mercury blended together. The seepage of mercury vapors so close to the brain has led many people to reduce their exposure to mercury by choosing composite fillings which have no mercury. Another source of mercury comes unexpectedly from several vaccines. Mercury (thimerosal) is used as a preservative in vaccines and the cumulative amount has dramatically increased over the years. For more information on vaccinations and mercury, see my book, There’s An Elephant in the Room–Exposing Hidden Truths in the Science of Health.
